Hundehilfe Slowakei

Unser Tierheim in der Slowakei fällt uns über dem Kopf zusammen! Seit sechs Jahren finden Hunde Unterschlupf in einem alten Stall, den wir Tierheim nennen. Hier und da haben wir ausgebessert, aber auf Dauer helfen uns Schönheitsreparaturen nicht mehr!

Nun mussten wir einen kompletten Bereich schließen, denn die dort untergebrachten Hunden befanden sich hier in Lebensgefahr! Die Deckte droht einzustürzen, rostige Gitter sorgen für fiese Verletzungen, bei Regen wird der gesamte Bereich unter Wasser gesetzt und das Wasser kommt der Elektroleitung gefährlich nahe!

Das bedeutet, dass wir nun weniger Hunde aufnehmen können, weniger Hunde vermitteln können, dass mehr Hunde auf der Straße ihr Ende finden… 

Nach langem Suchen haben wir liebe Menschen gefunden, die uns beim Aufbau mit ihrem handwerklichen Geschick unterstützen. Doch auch sie können nicht von Luft und Liebe leben und das Material muss auch irgendwie bezahlt werden! Und uns fehlt das Geld! Wer kann uns unterstützen? Jeder Euro zählt und geht an den Aufbau unseres Tierheims und sorgt dafür, dass unsere Schützlinge in Sicherheit sind, auf ihrem Zwischenhalt, bis sie eine liebevolle Familie gefunden haben!

Our animal shelter in Slovakia is in a state of disrepair! We take care of unwanted dogs and since six years they find a refuge in an old barn, which we call animal shelter. Everyday we have to fix something, but it’s not more than a cosmetic repair, because we don’t have the funds to reconstruct the shelter.

In the meantime, we had to close a sector of our shelter completely, because there were life threatening conditions for the dogs! There was the danger, that the ceiling could any minute come down on our protection seeking animals, rusty bars caused otherwise preventable injuries and the whole kennel was flooded if it rained. The water level was so high, we had to fear it soon reaches the electric cables!

With the closure less dogs can be saved and given a shelter. Less dogs have the chance to find a new loving home. More dogs will lose their life in the streets of Slovakia…

We searched for a long time (only a few people in Slovakia are willing to work in an animal shelter) and now we found kind construction workers who are willing to help us and the dogs! But their work and of course the material has to be paid for too! And we don’t have the financial resources to cover the costs. Who can help us? Every Euro is important and will be used to pay for the reconstruction of our shelter, so we can give homeless and tortured dogs a safe surrounding from which they can find their forever homes in loving families!
