As many of you might already know, shelter pets often times go without a forever family because many families choose to purchase pets from pet stores and breeders.
We are a group of students at Kent State University who are putting on a fundraiser for a cause we believe in--aiding in the care of pets being hosted at the Humane Society of Summit County. Many shelter pets stay at the Humane Society of Summit County for extensive amounts of time until they are adopted into a family. For this reason, the shelter is always in need of donations which are used to buy pet-care supplies and to maintain the shelter so that it continues to be a safe, clean, comfortable place for animals to stay. Our goal is to raise at least $400 for the Summit County branch to aid in the cost of caring for these animals.
We appreciate donations of any amount, and remember to share so we can get the word out about our cause.
