Human Interest Documentary: Jill and Giles

For our final year project,  Eoin and I are producing a short human interest documentary based on the life of a couple who have spent twenty years living on a boat travelling around Ireland. To us, documentary making stems from the curiosity of people, about the world or other people’s lives and stories. As aspiring filmmakers, we are curious to learn about people’s stories; our curiosity guides our idea. We have decided on this idea to explore Jill and Giles’ unconventional lifestyle, and we want the audience to experience their way of life along with us. With our documentary, as audiences, you will view the life, Jill and Giles lives and follow their story of who they are and the struggles they face to keep the freedom they enjoy.

To make this documentary we have to travel from Tralee to Athlone numerous days to film and also get equipment such as lens, lights and a monitor. We are making this 'go fund me'  campaign in order to further fund this project as it has and will be costly.
