Hull In Paint 2018

Donation protected

Hull in Paint began life as a one week long exhibition during Heritage Open Days in 2013.

Over the last 5 years it has grown into an annual 9 week city wide touring exhibition that attracts an audience of over 75,000. We ask for painting entries from local artists, requesting that the paintings reflect a unique view of Hull through the artist's eyes, capturing the excitement and positive feeling that exists in Hull, as well as the rich diversity of it's heritage and history.

Our mission is to take art to places you wouldn't expect to find it and through this, engaging with the public on a real grassroots level.

For the summer of 2018, the exhibition will start it's tour from established retail and leisure centre, Princes Quay. It will spend time here before moving on to St. John Baptist Church, Orchard Park Health Centre and finishing it's tour at Hull Show on East Park.

Your donation will fund the refurbishment and repair of our exhibition boards, van hire and  transport costs, set up and installation of bespoke exhibitions to four different venues.

We are raising money to help us make this year the best yet!

The Hull in Paint exhibition is produced by Ol’ Town Arts Events Ltd, a not for profit organisation.
