Huggy's Disability Fund - 2018

Dear donors:
As many of you are aware, Kerry Singh ("Huggy") suffered a catastrophic spinal cord injury while playing for Balmy Beach Rugby Club in 1993. This fund has been created to assist Huggy with his wheelchair van and disability expenses. Government assistance is very limited for his disability expenses, and no assistance is available for his van's maintenance/repair expenses, which as most of you know are very costly.
The Balmy Beach Rugby community recognized very quickly the need for a vital transportation lifeline for Huggy. In 2012, the rugby community, friends and family raised funds to help him with the purchase of a new wheelchair accessible van. Quite simply, Huggy's life and independence would not be the same without his van.
Although it has been 25 years since Huggy's injury, I am proud to say that I have been involved in fundraising efforts from the beginning. I am delighted to participate in this very worthy cause again, and would ask you all to contribute to this year's campaign.
