It is hard to believe Huckleberry Hendry was born 8 months ago on May 17, 2016 at 2lb 14oz. Today, he weighs over 18lb, breastfed, rolling over and still amazing us every single day! In celebration of his 1 year birthday shortly arriving, I created this account.
As a family that spent the first 83 days of our son's life in the NICU, we know how stressful it is. We spent thousands of extra dollars just in commuting, parking, food, house guest to care for our older son... We were also very lucky that our sister set up a Go Fund Me for Huck to help with those costs.
With that being said, we wanted to set up this account to buy a 1 Week Parking Pass for each of the 80 families at the NICU. They cost $20 each. I know it doesn't seem like much, but if I received this gift, it would lift my spirits. Just to know people are out there, thinking of you and your little baby really helps. Thank you all so much for your support through Huckleberry's journey. It's time to pay it forward :)
