Destinae's fight against Cancer

On January 21, 2016, I got the horrible news that my sister-in-law Destinae, was diagnosed with Stage 2A, Grade 3 Breast Cancer. This has come as a shock to our whole family since she is only 30 years old, with no family history of Breast Cancer. We are still currently learning about her diagnosis and all the specifics.
What we do know is:
Stage 2A, Grade 3 Breast Cancer is a highly aggressive cancer. She has a 2cm tumor and is still awaiting results to determine its exact driving force. She still has to undergo many tests and will be starting Chemotherapy in the next 3-4 weeks for a period of 18-20 weeks. After Chemo, she will have the necessary surgeries needed depending on treatment success.
The emotional and financial burden of surviving Breast Cancer is a challenge at any stage in life, but at the age of 30, it seems even more unfair. Destinae and my older brother Andrew just got married in August of 2015. She is a kindergarten teacher, and he is a Police Officer in Prince George's County, Maryland. Both of their lives are dedicated to helping people and serving the community. This beautiful couple's journey together had just begun and instead of going on a Honeymoon and following through with plans to try and have children, they now have to face this difficult fight.
Doctors say that the Chemotherapy will most likely damage Destinae's ovaries, so they are currently seeking options from a Fertility Doctor. Destinae and Andrew want children of their own, so they'll have to go through Hormone therapy and egg harvesting. These options are very expensive and complicated but they are passionate about the opportunity to have a family when her treatment is complete.
Destinae is one of the sweetest, caring, kind hearted, Patient, dog loving, easy going people that I have ever met. She is the love of my brother's life, and I can't even fathom how they are feeling right now. They really need and deserve our love and support at this time more than ever.
Funds raised will be used for:
-surgery and reconstruction
-medical treatment costs
-fertility preservation
-loss of income while Destinae is off work
-any other unanticipated costs
