Collaborate for baby CLAY

On August 29th 2018, Clay Lamon was born to Cody and Tessa Spencer and became a little brother to his big brotherJericho! Clay was soooo LOVED before he even arrived and is EXTREMELY loved now! He is now almost three months old and has been eating, sleeping, gaining weight and seemed to be an overall healthy and happy baby!
Over the weekend Clays breathing seemed off, so Tessa and Cody decided to get him into the doctor on Monday morning to make sure everything was ok. Once they were at the doctors office, they confirmed his breathing was shallow and abnormal so the doctor sent them straight to the emergency room and there they decided he needed to get to Primary Children's Hospital IMMEDIATELY! By Monday evening they were at Primary Children's hospital, they observed Clay while on oxygen and did tests to figure out what was causing it.
They found that the pulmonary artery was attached in the wrong place causing the heart not to empty blood properly which was causing the heart to enlarge and be overworked. They took him in for open heart surgery Tuesday morning to attach the artery in the correct place so the heart would pump blood properly.
We are so glad surgery went well and he is now in recovery, he has to be in the ICU at Primary Children's for a week or so and then he will go to recovery for another week or so. 
This is a very hardworking and wonderful young couple! Tessa had just started working again to help with financial responsibilities since having the baby, but with them living in Spanish Fork and baby Clay being at Primary Children's things are going to get tough and even harder financially... especially with Christmas being around the corner! 
Tis the season for giving and this AMAZING little family could use it!
