Race for Sophia

To our friends, family & fellow Sophia fans -
We are participating in Race Across the West, a daunting 860-mile ultracycling race, to raise money for Sophia's service dog through 4 PAWS for Ability.
Sophia is a four-year-old girl diagnosed with Cerebral Palsy, Hydrocephalus and Epilepsy from the damage sustained from intracranial bleeds. Her service dog will be specially trained in behavior disruption, retrieval, balance, stand and brace, and seizure/scent work. This service dog will allow her to be independent and comfort her during her seizures and medical procedures.
4 Paws For Ability is a nonprofit organization that places quality service dogs with children with disabilities and veterans who have lost the use of limbs or hearing. It is truly an amazing organization and we’re so excited to help such a great cause.
We start racing June 14th with a goal of raising $12,500 and we'd love for you to join us. We ask that you please consider supporting our cause by making a donation or sharing this page so Sophia's story can reach others. Your contributions will go toward purchasing and training a service dog specifically for Sophia.
