Howie's funeral expenses

Hi! My name is Susan West. Howie Schnur is my ex-husband and best friend in the whole world. He was diagnosed with stage 4 Metastatic Melanoma in October 2010 when he 34 years old. We have two children named David and Hannah who are 14 and 11 years old and we reside in Alvin, Tx. Howie has been in and out of the hospital trying every treatment and clinical trial in and effort to save his life for the past 6 years. He has undergone at least 30+ rounds of various chemotherapies, underwent radiation of his brain, spinal cord and liver and has had tumors burned out of his liver. He was at one point in remission for about 7-8 months in which he met his new wife Lorrie. They have been married for 3 years and is a wonderful,  loving woman who is currently taking care of him while his health is declining. Howie has been unable to work for the past 6 months and now lives on disability. He has no savings because the money he has saved was used to pay his bills while undergoing various surgeries and chemotherapy in an effort to save his life. He is no longer receiving treatment and is receiving palliative care to keep him comfortable. He has never given up the fight and so deserately wants to be here for his family. For the past 2 months his health has declined to the point that he is now 82 pounds, no longer wants to eat and drink and sleeps the majority of the time. There is no money to bury him and his final wishes are to be buried in Alvin so he can be close to his children. I would like to give my best friend a dignified burial so that my children, his wife and myself are able to visit and be close. He has been a true warrior and was so strong for me when my own mother died 4 years ago of cancer. Face to face with his own mortality he never wavered. Caring and loving, he would give anyone the shirt off his back even if that's all he had to offer. Any help would be so gratefully appreciated.
