How You Can Help the Hahnes

Donation protected

Things took a drastic downhill turn for Seth Hahne and his family this week. After 19 years with the same organization, Seth lost his job.

They need your help.

The Situation

* Seth and his wife Michelle have three children, including a new baby.
* While the Hahnes were both steadily employed last year they closed on a home. (His wife Michelle is a teacher.) Without Seth’s income, they won’t be able to cover their mortgage.
* Seth is in the midst of battling a series of rare illnesses. He recently had two major surgeries and without health coverage, they won’t be able to afford ongoing treatment.

Seth is already looking for a new job, and Michelle is still working. As they struggle through this unexpected transition, we’d love to partner with you to support them.

How You Can Help

Donate a gift:
Whether you give $100 or $10, every little bit helps. Seth was the primary breadwinner for the family, so your gift will go to the basics: keeping the lights on, paying the mortgage, and putting food on the table. Your gift will help support an entire family.

Hire him:
Seth is a talented writer, illustrator and graphic designer. If you have freelance opportunities or connections please consider offering him a gig as he looks for stable employment.

Buy his work:

Send a Meal:
If you’re local, consider sending or bringing a meal. Offering to babysit would also be helpful!

Share this page:
Give your friends and family the opportunity to bless someone else during a time of great need.

Taking any of the actions above is a real and practical way you can support a family through a devastating financial crisis. For the cost of a few nights out or a couple of movie tickets, you can help the Hahnes family stay in their home and weather this storm.

"For there was not a needy person among them, because all those who owned lands or houses sold them, brought the proceeds of the things that were sold, and laid them at the apostles’ feet. This was then distributed for each person’s basic needs." (Acts 4:34-35)
