My mom is 70. She has a mortgage and has been unable to afford upkeep and repair to her 112+ year old home. I had suspended this campaign but just found out about a bill she was hiding from me that I have not been figuring into the budget. She is having cognitive difficulties. I am her sole caregiver.
She recently had a bad water leak and water theft and had to take out a loan to pay the water department and plumber. Her stove does not work; she uses a hotplate, toaster oven, and microwave. I've had the leak over the kitchen table patched, but she needs a new roof. She needs a new front porch, back steps, and wiring replaced.
She also needs bifocals and hearing aids. She only has Medicare Part A. We have no family who will help, and I cannot do it all on my own. Anything will help. Thank you.
