House Reconstruction After Extreme Storm

Due to extreme weather conditions in the area, a close friend's house suffered tremendous damage. A whole wall came crushing down and a large part of his house just plummeted to the hillside on top of which it was built. The engineers he brought to assess the damage told him that the problem now is that the rest of the house is unstable. If it is not fixed by this summer he may very well lose his house to the next rain. The costs for the engineers, the workers, the materials and the necessary building licenses comes approximately at the 20000 mark. He is doing his best to raise the money on his own but he is just one person and more expenses keep resurfacing. On top of all else, he recently lost his job and in Greece it is not easy for anyone to easily find a new one.

I can't stress enough how important this is to him. Apart from the fact that he now has to live in friend's houses and move around a lot until the matter is sorted, this is the house that his late mother built and he promised her that he will take care of it no matter what.
