Matt Compton's Eagle Scout Project

Hi. My name is Matt Compton. I'm a Life Scout from Troop 255 in Chevy Chase MD. My Eagle Project is supporting House of Ruth, an organization that helps women, children and families in greatest need and with very limited resources build safe, stable lives and achieve their highest potential.  For my project, we’ll be landscaping the backyard of one of House of Ruth’s residents in Southeast DC to prepare it for the installation of a new playground.  In addition, we’ll be building and installing benches for the moms whose kids will be using the playground.  The funds raised for this project will be used to buy materials needed for the landscaping and benches.
