2016 Hot Choklit for the Homeless

This holiday season marks 7 year old Ashley's second year running her Hot Choklit for the Homeless stand in front of our home in Hayward, CA.  

Last year, she requested that we purchase supplies to sell hot chocolate and when asked what she was raising money for, instead of something for herself, she told us she wanted to buy food and presents for the homeless.  

Ashley's giving heart has led her to ask for donations to our local animal shelter in lieu of birthday presents this past March and has plans to start an organization to help kids find ways to help out in their communities.  Ashley is a firm believer that "little kids can make a big difference!"

Hot Choklit for the Homeless will be open with Ashley spreading holiday cheer for at least a few hours each Saturday, weather permitting, until Christmas.  

The first Hot Choklit stand raised just over $200 and produced 18 care packages.  Let's help Ashley expand her reach!
