Hot 98.1's Black Panther Challenge
Donation protected
Based on the national #BlackPantherChallenge movement, HOT 98.1's Dex and Barbie T in the Morning have joined forces with New Foundations Home for Children. The goal is to raise enough funds to take fifty kids from NFHC's residential programs (and their chaperones) to see Marvel Studios' Black Panther. The superhero film -- starring Anderson, SC, native Chadwick Boseman -- is notable for featuring a black male lead as the hero along with a predominantly black cast in a big blockbuster film.
Funds will be used to 1) purchase the tickets, 2) provide refreshments for the kids and their chaperones, and 3) help with transportation to and from the theater. 100% of the leftover funds will be donated directly to New Foundations Home for Children.
A donation of $10 would cover a ticket, and another $5 would cover snacks. Please donate what you can to help me reach my goal of $1,000 so we can take ALL their kids!
