A single father of 3 girls had his life changed forever. We would like to help Dennis and his daughters.

On Monday March 30, 2015, Dennis Bahadur, a member of Georgina Lodge #343, a single Father of 3 beautiful girls aged 16, 13 & 11 was involved in a very serious car crash.

His vehicle hit a tree and the vehicle became engulfed in flames. With the assistance of 2 bystanders, they were able to remove Dennis from the vehicle while he was on fire himself. Dennis was taken to hospital and put into induced coma due to bleeding and swelling of the brain.

He has since been taken out of induced coma but is still heavily medicated due to pain and injuries. Unfortunately, due to the severity of the burns to his legs, he had to have both feet amputated below the knee.

He is still asleep and unaware of his current circumstances.

His daughters are very strong and supportive of their Dad but are young and hurting. They are fortunate to be under the care of close friends.

As time moves forward, there will be many challenges and needs to accommodate and assist with the situation that he and his family will face in the future preparing their home and vehicle with the necessary changes to support him.

If ever there was a moment to realize the tenet's of Brotherly Love & relief for a father it's now.

Please take the time to do one thing right now!

Share this story on facebook and send it to your friends and brethren.

If you can donate, any amount no matter how little will help Dennis and his girls.

If you would like to make a cash donation or money order, cheque etc... please contact Darren Dunlop at:

Our hope and love are with Dennis and his girls!

I hope you remember that curious time when you stood poor and penniless!

If it were in your power to give, would you?

Dear all supporters of Dennis and his daughters,

It is now 2 months after Dennis' accident. The times have been tough.

The continued prayers and support from family, friends, colleagues and strangers, has been tremendous. Dennis' daughters are truly grateful and touched.

Dennis has regained consciousness and is progressing well although relatively slow. We all want to see Dennis back on his "A" game as soon as possible, although it will be a long road to recovery.

He is becoming more confident in his vocabulary and thought process regularly. Clearly Dennis misses his job responsibilities as he references work tasks with pride and enthusiasm.

He is indeed a fighter and with all of the continued support that he is receiving, he will get there. He is even eating solid foods now and complaining about them.

Dennis still has a long way to go, and more importantly still needs your prayers & support.

Go Dennis Go!

Dear all supporters of Dennis and his daughters,

It has been 1 month since the day of the accident. Dennis is still in hospital but moving in a forward direction. Everyone is concerned and praying for Dennis and although we would love to give you updates more regularly, the process is slow and there is not much to update day to day.

Some of the largest progress as yet is that in recent days he has opened his eyes. With the right moment (i.e. seeing his girls), he beams his big smile and perhaps one might argue, on the verge of laughter as well.

These are positive progressions. Slow, but progressions just the same. Healing is underway but of course, takes a long time.

Thank you to all family, friends, colleagues and strangers for caring so deeply for Dennis and his girls. Your gratitude will never be forgotten.

P.S. From the Campaign Organizers: Please share this on facebook and reach out to your friends on facebook and ask them to share it. Dennis will need as much support as he can get, and social media is an amazing tool in these efforts.

Dear all supporters of Dennis and his daughters,

Dennis underwent his hip surgery and it was successful. He is still not responding so much but he does open his eyes occasionally. Understandably, that through the heavy medications and sedation, responsiveness would be difficult.

Keep Dennis in your prayers and let's have some hope and faith that he will be back with us soon enough.

Many heartfelt thanks for all of the generosity and love that has been coming in. It is truly appreciated.

Thank you

P.S. From the Campaign Organizers: Please share this on facebook and reach out to your friends on facebook and ask them to share it. Dennis will need as much support as he can get, and social media is an amazing tool in these efforts.

Dear all supporters of Dennis and his daughters,

Unfortunately Dennis' condition has not changed. He is still sleeping under heavy medication. He is awaiting hip surgery as it was broken during the accident but it can't be performed until his body is ready to undergo that process.

His daughters are truly grateful for all of the support that has been pouring in.

The journey is still in its infancy and we need to keep the support coming.

Thanks again.

Oh my ... An accident not with as severe outcomes but their own severity nonetheless, happened to my ex-husband in our relationships infancy almost 12 years ago. I can tell you it's still like yesterday getting the call, seeing him, and the extreme fight for life that happens afterwards. Not trying to make you sad--just here to tell you to keep HOPE. There are SOO many out there that are supporting your situation, and many of us have been there. Reading your story just takes me back to that day but also reminds me of the healing that has happened since. Things will change but never ever stop fighting or give up. Ever. We pray for your fathers strength to be abundant and for you girls and the entire family as well.
