Malan syndrome is a rare genetic disorder that is characterized by childhood overgrowth, macrocephaly, intellectual disability, vision and/or hearing impairment, skeletal anomalies, epilepsy and severe anxiety. The syndrome was identified in 2010. Very little is known about what causes Malan syndrome and there is currently no treatment.
