Helping Hope

Our dear friend Hope who is Hope needs our help.   Her mother was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer in November and Hope has been her mother's primary caretaker for 3-4 days a week, traveling back and forth from Athens to Atlanta and trying to simultaneously work full time (which is humanely impossible).  Anyone who knows Hope knows her gigantic heart, how deeply she cares for and inspires the children (and teenagers) of Athens, and her endless generosity. She has breathed so much beautiful life into our community.  And now we have the precious opportunity to give back. This gofundme page has been set up because there has recently been a turn, and her mother now needs a tremendous amount of care and much of this care falls on Hope.  And so she now finds herself in an impossible situation.  She must drop many of her paying jobs to be at her mother's side at least 5 days a week, leaving her to struggle with basic living expenses (rent, car, food, et cetera).  

I know we all love Hope so much, and many of us have asked her over and over again what we can do to help.  So this is what we can do.  Please send what you can.   During this incredibly difficult time let's give Hope some peace of mind.
