Hope for Titan

Titan the great dane was taken to the Lincoln County Humane Society before his owner passed away. While in the Humane Society Titan needed emergency surgery on his stomach. The humane society wanted to euthanize Titan today if he didnt get adopted!! There was a loving family that opened there doors for Titan but the humane society says he is not up for adoption because while he was going after a treat from one of the voulnteers at the shelter Titan bit the voulnteer, Titan has lost his owner been in the humane society for over a month and under gone surgery it is understandable he would have not been his usual friendly self. But if the family of Titan were to pay $5000 to cover the medical bill he would be realsed to us. Titan has been in the shelter for well over a month I am sure he is very stressed and scared as any animal would be in an unfamilair place. Titan has never shown any agression towards any of us in the family specifically my young couisns and younger brother who loved to take him on walks all the time. Titan also lived with a smaller dog and two cats and never showed any agression towards this dog or cats either.  My uncle Jeremy loved this dog with his heart and soul and this is the last piece we have to hold of him. Our family is trying our best to get Titan out into a loving home, even if a donation is not possible, reaching out to the Lincoln County Humane Society will help raise awareness about this tragedy. Our family would like to thank everyone for there support and kindness.  Speaking to the humane society today they have informed us that if half of the balance is paid titan will be released to us and the reamining balance can be paid in instalments over time. So moving forward this is our goal and we are hopeful for Titan.
