Hope for Addie

On Christmas Eve, we received the heartbreaking news that our sweet little Addie Hope has a rare and aggressive cancerous tumor in her sinus area affecting her right eye. Addie and her family immediately flew to Salt Lake to Primary Children's Hospital where she is getting amazing care.
Addie will have a biopsy through her nose this evening on December 26 at 6:00pm to determine the type of cancer and treatment and we should have the results within 48 hours. We ask for your prayers that everything goes well and her tumor is one that responds quickly to chemotherapy since surgery to remove the mass is very risky with many cranial nerves and her carotid artery involved.
The Abernathey family is just beginning a very long journey to get their Addie Hope healthy and back to her silly and wild three year old self that we love so much.
We know the medical bills will be huge, but this is also going to have a big impact on Kristee and John as they try to take care of their regular bills, home back in Meridian, and two older children Aydree and Luke. Kristee is a nurse at St Al's in Boise where she can have FMLA, but unfortunately will not be paid during her time off to be by Addie's side. She absolutely can not leave her sweet baby girl's side, so we are asking for help.
I have created this Go Fund Me page so that Kristee and her family do not need to worry about all of the expenses during this already terribly diffucult time.
We also wanted one central place for those that would like to help, get updates, and send prayers.
