Hope Aria Academy Training

I'm Kirsty Jay Allen and I'll be graduating from The University of Central Lancashire in July with a degree in Music Theatre. Not many people know this but I was originally unsuccessful on getting a place at UCLan,  but I persisted to email the course leader, and when he didn’t respond to my emails, I of course called him and asked for a second audition, and following this I was offered a place at the only place I wanted to study! So from then on I have worked my little 4ft 11 butt off, and although there have been hard times it has only confirmed to me that performing is my biggest passion and it’s what I want to do! 



Recently, there have been many of my talented friends who have set up these pages to aid their ongoing studies at drama school. This year drama school is financially not an option for me, however I am still wanting to continue training.  This is made possible for me as I have been given a place to continue training at Hope Aria Academy.



Hope Aria Academy offers further training in singing, acting and dancing and with guest speakers coming in to also introduce us to other aspects of the industry such as directing, writing and technical theatre. Broadening our horizons to other avenues within the industry, as well as helping with audition preparation.  Hope Aria Academy is run by the same people who own Hope Mill Theatre, this is where I will be performing in Jerry Springer The Opera in August, it is my favourite theatre and it is very close to my heart.



This opportunity would really mean a lot to me to continue growing my confidence and to get out there and throw myself in to this crazy scary thing that is this industry, and this is the part where I need to ask for help. Any donation at all would be gratefully received and would help so much!
