Meet Jerry Price...Husband, Father, Grandfather, Brother in Christ, Counselor, Writer, Mentor, Truth Seeker and dear Friend to many!!
Jerry is wise, insightful, kingdom centered, caring, honest, loving, sarcastic, witty, steadfast, deep, truthful and compassionate.
I met Jerry many years ago through the game of baseball and he counseled me through some very difficult seasons in my life. I currently live in Flagstaff, AZ after 28 years in Chandler which is where I met Jerry.
The money raised will go directly to Jerry to be used solely for the purpose of fighting Prostate Cancer at a place called Hope 4 Cancer in Cancun, Mexico. We have raised $13,800 as of today including private donations outside of GoFundme- shooting for $45,000. The treatment center cost is roughly $15,000 per week and the goal is to allow Jerry 21 days (3 weeks) at Hope 4 Cancer.
I have been instructed by GoFundMe to explain that I will first withdraw any monies donated in my name and plan to deliver the funds to Jerry via check or cash or other method outside of GoFundMe.
Jerry has stage 4 prostate cancer. The cancer has penitrated the prostate wall and is on the the bone in several spots which causes extreme pain for Jerry. He has been fighting the good fight for many months now and it appears the cancer is winning.
He has done many rounds of radiation to stop the cancer in the prostate. None of it has worked at killing the cancer that is located on the bone. His hemoglobin is still very low. He may have to have another blood transfusion soon.
His Dr would like to start IV radiation ASAP. We know this will be extremely damaging to his immune system and is usually sought as a “last resort”. Jerry is not eating much these days and is literally disappearing.
We would like to raise enough $ to send him to this wonderful facility where he can receive an impressive combination of cutting edge treatments to boost the immune system and eradicate the cancer through alternative healing methods that are not necessarily allowed in the US....because they WORK!! Having had several other friends/clients experience Hope 4 Cancer with tremendous results, we feel this is a necessary and game winning strategy/step for Jerry to win this battle!
Its time to all pitch in and help HEAL this man who gives of himself to help others day in and day out. As he has navigated through the unknown journey of cancer, he has not ceased to come to the aid of others. He continuously pours into the lives and hearts of others with his purpose & focus on Christ alone.
Please pray for Jerry even if you can’t give! This will mean more to him than any dollar sign of any amount. He is in a tremendous amount of pain at any given moment.
If you are able to donate, plz plz give a little or a lot or anything in between. The amount requested will cover each and every treatment, lodging for Jerry & Judy and airfare.
They have one bed open currently and are anxiously awaiting his arrival with open arms. Those of us that respect, admire and enjoy his presence on this Earth would be so grateful for your donation and or your continued prayers for healing.
