"The power of community to create health is far greater than any physician, clinic or hospital" - Mark Hyman

The Bueno Para Todos Agricultural Cooperative has a mission to create rural economic development through sustainable agriculture. The health of any community includes its economy and food security. It was therefore imparative that the farmers in our community needed to come together, share resources through cooperative and be part of increasing overall wellbeing in the Pecos River Valley.

In November of 2016, we completed the construction of our first hoop house and only after five days it was destroyed by a wind storm. We reached out to our community at that time and many of you ansered the call making donations and sharing resources. After months of hard work and seas of redtape we were able to recover 3/4 of the funds lost from the USDA's Equitable Relief Program. We are so close to our goal of resurrecting the hoop house and getting back to growing.

Your tax deductible donation will go toward recovering the remaining costs of the rebuild which now include additional fixtures to fortify the structure. We thank you in advance for your contributions, shares and well wishes.

Bueno Para Todos is a project of the El Valle Women's Collaborative. Fiscal sponsorship is provided by the New Mexico Community Foundation.

Here is another update for you today. The doors are up on the hoop house. We are still struggling to get caught up on the expenses we have accrued to make this a stronger more resilient hoop house than before. We invite you to come on Sunday beginning at 10:00am to place the doors and the roof on the hoop house. Students from La Academia in Denver are coming to learn about the rural southwest, it's challenges and it's beauty. Our first plant date is March 31st with the youth of the United World College beginning at 12:00pm. Please join us for the fun and donate to the Bueno Para Todos Cooperative hoop house fund!

Bueno Para Todos has been hard at work finishing the hoop house located in Villanueva, NM. Check out this video of our neighbors Abel Aguilar and his father setting up the doors for for the hoop house. Abel father has been a long time farmer in the valle and Abel is a talented welder. If you ever need a welding project done. He is the person to go to.

While we have had helping hands to finish this project we are falling short financially. We need to pay Abel and his father for the work that they have done. They have gone above and beyond. We also have many other costs we have incurred along the way including cement, trench digging, and replacement parts. Help us pay our neighbors and the good work they do in the valley.

Today, young women from seven different countries gathered together at the El Valle Women's Collaborative. These nine students from the United World College in Montezuma, New Mexico joined lively discussions and hot plates of food with El Valle women. The goal was collaboration and the theme action. Gathered around the table, all agreed that it was communities like El Valle who take on the issues of water rights and food insecurity, that the world needs. This is not a revolutionary thing to say, but to act upon it through social outreach builds the capacity of our organization and shows our dedication to an impactful future. Please help us to continue in this mission of collaboration and inspiration for passionate individuals and communities by clicking the attached link and contributing to our mission.

Hands, laughter and lots of heart are building the hoop house. Since our last post post the Bueno Para Todos has partnered with Querencia's Agua es Vida Youth Program and The World College. Beyond hard work the youth have brought incredible energy to the project. The youth are committed to coming out once a month to help build the hoop house. The hoop house will provide food security, protect water rights, and create economic sustainability for the El Valle Community. We are at a critical point. We need your support.

Your donation will go to fund the following:
1. $1500 still owed to Farmtek
2. $3000 to pay off parts that had to be ordered to begin construction
3. $1650 to pay a local company for concrete to reinforce the base of the structure
4. $1000 to pay one of our local neighbors to reposition the posts
5. $300 to have the trench dug
Additionally, there are about $500 in miscellaneous costs for wood, equipment and supplies.

As you can see our costs actually well exceed the $5000 we are asking from our community. We are working hard to gather funds through various avenues, but we need your help to make this a reality.

Everyday we look at the news and there is another story about the high cost of food or the inability to access foods. Your donation is going to help one community to prevent this and inspire others.
