I think it's time that we started hearing about the good in the American military community...the veteran success stories and about the companies, universities and organizations who help those who've served.
Honor Media, is a nonprofit (in the process of applying) digital platform that spotlights how veterans are continuing to serve their country and how America supports them.
There are thousands of Veteran Service Organizations and American organizations helping veterans with job placement, physical fitness, mental and medical well-being, service dogs, leadership opportunities, community service projects and business training.
The mission of Honor Media is to salute those people and demonstrate that military members who've served their country are assets, not liabilities, while counteracting current media that unfavorably portrays veterans.
Donations will directly help Honor Media produce and publish original content, promote awareness for events, organizations and individuals and connect with existing nonprofits and American companies.
It's time for America to see that for many veterans, their greatest service to country isn't what they did in the past in uniform, but what they're doing today.
