Domestic Violence advocate, Alida Tchicamboud is the founder and CEO of Healing Hands International. A non-profit organization committed to empowering survivors of domestic violence through advocacy, counselling and educational services. Alida, envisioned Healing Hands as a voice to express healing and restoration after the abuse and to also encourage women seeking to escape abusive relationships.

On Saturday October 20th 2018, Healing Hands International is hosting its 1st Fundraising Annual Gala to accomplish three (3) determinants goals:
1- Honor OVER-COMERS who said no to Domestic Violence (DV) and took the challenge to live a new life free of hurt. Defying difficult decisions, the hardship of becoming a single mother while undergoing therapy and securing employment; we would like to publicly recognize these wonderful women for their success.
2- Implement a teen program (YEP: Youth Empowerment Program) designated to coach girls between ages 10-17 and teach them how to improve their confidence, self-esteem, body-image, resist peer pressure and how to abstain from violence. we believe that AWARENESS +PREVENTION =SAFELIFE
3- Give back to the community by donating 50% of the funds to the Living Church of God's Provision and the Sanctuary for Families .
Our hope for Healing Hands International is that we gain support to totally eliminate Domestic Violence. Platforms such as ours are honored to bring this issue across the country that effects us as a nation. We encourage you to join with us, invite your family and friends and please GIVE TODAY! .
