This is a Fundraiser to help finance the establishment and opening of the “Eco Lab Garden” for Black youth ages 7- 17 in West Oakland, Ca. It will be a learning space to teach Black students about Sustainability, Green Industries, Environment and Ecology.
The Eco Lab Garden will be a year round teaching space covering S.T.E.A.M as the basis of an eco-education. This will expose Black youth to future industries for business and career choices; as well enhance their understanding of the Biosphere.
In order to successfully operate this program; we are asking for at least $20.00 towards our total goal of $222,000.00. Your donation will be more like an investment in the future of Black children and teaching about sustainable living.
We have a 3000 sq. ft. garden space located in West Oakland, Ca in which we will raise chickens, worms, rabbits, goats, bees and fish; as well as several herbs, flowers, medicines and annual crops.
