On July 7, 2018, Ashley Shanahan and Matt Thomas experienced a house fire in their Neptune, NJ home. 4 out of 5 of their animal companions (Princess Peach, James, Piper and Smaug) were lost to the fire that happened while they were away. While donations won’t bring back the lives that were lost, they will help this family of survivors begin to move forward.
