Hi all! Please join me in helping the disadvantaged youths in Honduras. I am going on an Alternative Spring Break Trip. I will be volunteering my time to help the Organization for Youth Empowerment: OYE is a youth-led development NGO based in El Progreso, Honduras. Honduras is a country where violence, corruption and insecurity are endemic and poverty widespread. Youth are those most affected by this environment.
Our mission is to educate, empower and engage disadvantaged youth to break the cycle of poverty and become agents of change in their homes, schools and communities. We envision a society where youth are key actors in the positive development of Honduras.
I've already raised $1,000, and I need $1,000 more by February 2018 to cover all the costs of the trip. I would really appreciate your love and support, and would be forever grateful for anything you can contribute towards my mission :)
