Honduras Mission Trip

Over the last year, God has really been doing some work on me. He has opened my eyes to what is important in this life. He has lit a fire inside me that fuels a drive to grow His kingdom. It has been a desire of mine for some time now to go on a mission trip and spread the word of God to young people across the globe. Well, God heard my heart's song and has laid an amazing opportunity at my feet. My dear friend Tori and I are planning a mission trip to Good Shepard Children's Home in Honduras in March 2017 through the organization Baptist Medical and Dental Mission International (BMDMI). During our week there, our main purpose will be to share the love of Christ with the children. We will also help organize and teach Vacation Bible School, as they will be between school sessions at the time. GSCH rescues these children from a life of extreme poverty, neglect, and abuse. They house, feed, and educate the children so that they may break the cycle of poverty and despair, giving these children the foundation they need to live productive lives with hearts on fire for Christ. I have been so moved reading some of the children's stories and I am beyond excited to show them love and hopefully help in strengthening their relationship with God.
Your donations would help us make the trip, including our airfare, various travel expenses, food, and BMDMI's team fee. Our airfare must be paid by December, so any help would be greatly appreciated!
I can't begin to tell you how much this trip means to both Tori and me. We have talked about this for over a year and it is very clear to us that God has paved the way for us to spread His word to children who need it more than anything else. We are so excited to get our hands on those children and show them God's love by showing them OUR love. I have been prayerful that our mission touches the hearts of people in Honduras and that we can build God's kingdom through our work there.
