Killed by Bulldozer ! Shannon Bigley R.I.P

Donation protected
On behalf of the our family we would like to express our gratitude for all the kind thoughts and prayers as we join together in this time of hardship and grief.

Shannon will be missed by many but never forgotten, leaves behind two beautiful children and husband, Earnest Gray, Jr.

On August 1, 2018, along side California State Highway 99, in the city of Modesto, Shannons’ life was tragically taken by a Caltran’s employee as he carelessly drove a bulldozer in a homeless encampment and as she was sleeping in a card board box ran her over and took her life. The lack of training and disagreement of public safety is what led to this tragic loss of life. Witness describe the scene as very disturbing and horrific .

The children are doing as well as can be expected  as we work on Uniting this family. Mr Gray is in grief counseling getting professional help to deal with his loss of his wife.

We are asking the community to help this family put there lives back on track after this horrific tragedy.

Shelter, clothing, and transportation and day-to-day expenses are becoming a hardship on all family and friends that are committed to supporting this family under this crisis.
There are legal issues surrounding this case that have turned into additional battle for the family.

Shannon was a wife, mother, friend, and provider that had a special glow about her that made all feel warm inside, her nick name was “Sunshine”.

We should all feel a loss as a community every homeless person is someones Mother, Father, Brother, Sister or  even someones child. Truly sad to say that all homeless are the easiest in every community to be misjudge and targeted as troublemakers.

In honor of Shannon we have formed a group called “SMB Hands”

“Shannon M. Bigley Hands"

This is a new venture for many and we have so much more to learn in order to be most effective with this movement. We welcome all that has a voice and concern to please share your experiences and knowledge to help us through this fight.

This will be a new start for all homeless people across the United States, please join us and bring awareness to this problem like never before.

Our goal is to supply the homeless community with an array of supplies needed to assist them with daily functions, and using this platform as an opportunity to get closer with city officials and have more of a presents on decisions made in our homeless communities, by people that are so far away from that community.

As the group grows we will be more effective across the state of California with goals of reaching all in need.

Thank you for your time and support in this movement!
