Homelessness Matters to Us!

23 students at Durham's Voyager Academy High School have spent this year investigating homelessness in American communities.
Students have learned more about homelessness by sleeping outside on a winter night, staging presentations on homelessness, and gathering contributions to make a positive difference for homeless and hungry people in the Durham community.
To culminate this learning experience, students will travel to Washington D.C. and Baltimore for five days of activism in a major American city and our nation's capitol. We have nearly reached our fundraising goals, but we wish to call upon the support of our families, friends, colleagues, and community members near and far. Please let us use your donation to make a positive impact on the lives of homeless people in our country.
We would like to build this fund out of small donations, getting as many people as possible involved to share our message and reach our ambitious goal. Everything counts!! If you can give $10 or more, that would truly help propel us to success!
