Homeless Vets Village

Tax deductible
We've been waiting for the city to help our homeless vets and still nothing has been done, so we're finding our own solution.   OTR Foundation owns a piece of property on a quiet dead end street, close to the river.   We're going to build a community garden/tiny home village for our houseless vets.   These veterans were interviewed recently and committed to helping build with the skills they each had to bring to the table.  We know, in the 'Home of Heroes' we need to be more pro-active.  So a few of us, some of whom ran for Mayor, are stepping up to help solve the problem of having our veterans on the streets and in the cold.   We're going to build tiny homes and community gardens on this large piece of property and give at least 6-10 veterans a place to call home.  We hope you'll help us with the supplies and solar panels to make this happen.  Our homeless vets are eager to be involved and are rolling up their sleeves to help build these homes.
