Homeless Mom & Three Little Boys Need Assistance

We don’t just rescue dogs – sometimes humans need to get out of a hard situation too.
I recently was finally able to encourage a single mom with three young boys, one of which is special needs, to escape a volatile existence. They are in a very temporary living situation awaiting government housing. Their income is now $150 a month for the oldest child whose father passed away a few years ago. We’ve been able to get them to some food pantries and organizations that can help with clothing. Funds are needed for a couple month’s rent, car payments and much needed repairs to her van, and essentials to start a new life and set up a new living situation. Meanwhile, mom will be looking for a job. I can’t publicize their identity for fear of harassment by her former partner who is the two youngest boys’ father.
