Home Robbed After Mother's Suicide

Donation protected
On the 4th of April 2018 my mother took her own life due to the death of my father in 2011 & also of my sister in 2015. To say that my family have been dealt bad cards the last few years is putting it very lightly.

I being the youngest of three brothers still keep a lot of my possessions in my family home, despite the fact I work outside of town. I left for work on Tuesday the 8th of May only to be told the following day that my Mother's house, my family home had been broken into that night.

The low-life people that targeted my home knowing that nobody would be there attempted to break in a side window as seen in the photo below but ended up smashing the glass & climbing in that way.

The only two rooms targeted in the robbery were mine & my mothers as they're the only two rooms with any sign of life in them. I had €3,500 in cash hidden in a safe that I have been saving for quite some time to purchase a new motorbike which is a hobby of mine that has kept my head straight through all the stuff life has thrown at me. This money was stolen, as well as two watches from my room, one of which was left to me by my father, the other a watch my mother gave me on my 21st birthday only two years ago. The spare key to my car was stolen, along the key to my current motorbike which suggests that these people intend on coming back or striking me in another way by robbing me of my means of transport. My mother's mobile phone was taken which had thousands of photos that we will never get back & from her own bedroom a lot of her jewellery was taken.

I suppose at the moment I've been questioning my life a lot lately, being 23 years old & having already lost both parents as well as a sister. I'm struggling to see a point in anything, I've only recently gone back to work after everything that's happened with my mother but this robbery has broken me once again. You work hard to save money to buy things you will enjoy & make you happy again but all of this is taken away by people with no heart and no morals. I've debated wether or not to actually set up this campaign but I've decided that I need all the help I can get right now & hopefully restore my faith in humanity and the kindness of people which is at an all time low right now. There is zero pressure on anyone to donate but I appreciate every donation no matter how big or how small. Some of the funds will go towards repairing the window frames that were damaged during the break in and the rest will go towards saving for my new bike that I hope to afford in the future.

Thanks, Luke.
