Home of epileptic teen consumed by fire

Many may know William, 14, as the Denver teen who has been battling a rare and debilitating form of epilepsy most of his life. In the past few years, he has undergone two brain surgeries in an attempt to reduce his symptoms, but, so far, doctor's efforts to relieve "Sweet William" from his on-going suffering have failed.

Early Monday morning, the house that William and his family have called home for only a few months was consumed by fire. While he, his mother and two brothers were unharmed, their home and all of their possessions were destroyed. Because of the high cost of William's on-going treatments, the family was unable to afford renters insurance, and, without insurance, they now find themselves without the ability to rebuild their lives.

Fire Leaves Home With Severe Damage - Denver CBS4 News

We have created this page to help William and his family through this tragic and life-changing experience. We ask that the people of the Denver area and those touched by this tragedy across the country, please open your hearts by making a donation in any amount to the Sweet William Relocation Fund.

By coming together for this cause, we can give the family back one thing the fire took away...HOPE.

Our love and prayers are with the family during this very difficult time.

Joyce Sarchione, the mother and grandmother, of the family  will be the beneficiary.
