Hokey Park and Playground repair

On 08/04/2018 the Lehigh Valley experienced an unprecedented amount of rain in a very short period of time. As a result of the heavy rains, the Hokendauqua Park and Playground sustained severe damages. The damages included our snack stand which suffered damages to our cabinets, 2 freezers, refrigerator and ice maker. Our pavilion which is used for rentals suffered damages to the walls, floors and combination refrigerator/freezer. Both our stand and pavilion contribute to the funding of our park programs which include softball/baseball, basketball, field hockey and our children's Easter Egg Hunt. Additionally our playground equipment and baseball fields will need to be repaired as well  as our in-park road. Unfortunately our insurance policies (and most insurance policies) do not cover flooding. We are asking for donations to secure the necessary funds to make these repairs. Our fall baseball/softball seasons are starting in a few weeks and we need your help. Any monetary amount will do, no matter how small.
