Socks for Seniors

Hi,
My name is Hanah Welch and I’m 13yrs old & in the 7th grade.
I love to volunteer and help wherever I am needed. I recently helped my dad shop for his Police dept “Shop with a Cop” (the past few years) to help out children who were in need & got the idea that not only are kids the one’s in need, but so are a lot of the senior citizens in our local assisted living centers. Pretty much most of them are on a set LOW income & don’t have any family at all. Meaning they have no one to see at Christmas, not enough money to afford a pair of socks & so fourth. I want to make a new tradition & try my best to supply at least ONE assisted living center with a set of soft cozy warm Christmas socks with of course the no-slip bottoms. :) for their less fortunate seniors.
Not only do I want them to have warm feet, but a warm heart knowing someone else does care about them. I have started this with 2 pairs and call my project “Socks for Seniors”. I’m trying to raise at least $350 to purchase about 325 to 350 pairs of socks if not more. Please help me by donating a pair of socks or contributing to my “Sock” fund. This I promise will warm your heart along with mine & theirs.
