Books on Entrepreneurship to Africa

Yes! We shipped the first batch of books to rural Africa! Thank you for your contributions! Mounchili, the youth leader, will use them in his workshops. I'll stay in touch and email him presentations on creativity, leadership, and agriculture.

Here's a thank you from Mounchili:

The journey continues.

Your contributions will continue to go towards shipping books to Africa as we create more materials and build relationships with new leaders.

Just to keep everyone in the loop, here's the breakdown:

A flat rate box to Cameroon is $75. I can fit 10 (maybe 12 if I squeezed) books in that box. The books are $24.83 after tax. So every $323 raised, we can ship 10 books.

More to come.

Thank you.

I connected with a community leader in the African country of Cameroon after this woman tweeted about Entrepreneurship for the Cool Kids.  She runs a youth entrepreneurship program out of Israel.

Mounchili, the African leader, expressed interest in using Entrepreneurship for the Cool Kids for his youth leadership program.

Proceeds from this campaign, along with the penny drive I started, will go towards shipping copies of Entrepreneurship for the Cool Kids/material on resourcefulness and agriculture to him and his community in Cameroon, Africa.

Thanks to this Gofundme campaign, I have two of these set up in coffee shops around Phoenix:

Using the proceeds to ship material to Africa will allow others to make great use of the material while creating awareness locally.

This fundraising campaign got off to a slow start, but I had a feeling a deeper meaning would find it.

Thank you and I appreciate everything.

Your shares are just as valuable as your contributions.

Two donation boxes came today. I'm going to put flyers in them, get them in coffee shops, and market them as a pay-as-you-read product.

Who knows what will happen, but I'm going to try.

I thought the best use of these donated resources would be to buy more fishing poles.

Thank you for everything.

Hey Everyone,

I just used some of the money you donated to purchase one of these:

It's a donation box.

I'm going to set these up at coffee shops next to a copy of the book and ask people to donate.

But I'm going to mention on the background flyer that they can read the available copy before they donate, so I'll market it as a donation/read-a-bit and donate-a-bit kind of thing.

Your donations will go towards the purchasing of these. Donations from the actual boxes will go towards marketing the book and molding curriculum around it.

Thank you for everything. The journey continues. Creativity. Love. Education.

Original Post:

I need help getting Entrepreneurship for the Cool Kids to the people who will benefit from it.

The first batch is printed and I've sold copies to everyone I can reach. To continue on, I need marketing dollars.

This Gofundme is for marketing the book. If you'd like to purchase a book directly, visit this page on my blog: https://www.brandonmullan.com/copy-of-entrepreneurship-for-the-co. Feel free to peruse the rest of the blog.

You don't have to spend money to help. Sharing this on your platforms helps tremendously! Even writing an "Oh yeah, I'm going to read this" review on a site like Goodreads

Entrepreneurship for the Cool Kids is a reference book on the self-discovery process a person goes through when they go their own path. Larry the self-made Weatherman is the guide through the book.

The book helps readers solve problems within themselves by referencing things like:

What do I do after I discover my passion?
What should I do when I try and fail?
How do I discover who I truly am?
What if no one believes in me?

I know there are countless people, from teens on up, who will benefit from this. I've poured everything I have into getting the book published and ready to ship.

The resources will go towards online ads (we'll start with something like $5 per day), giveaways on sites like Goodreads, (it costs $150 to do a giveaway on Goodreads, hundreds of people sign up and Goodreads picks the winners, I ship the copies to them, those people leave reviews, the reviews circulate on  the internet) and getting copies into the hands of YouTubers (I want to get one to this Harvard student and people like him) who will share it with their audiences.

I'm reaching a point where I'm grateful that all this happened to me, even though the majority of it was really hard. I know there are countless lessons and pieces of life-changing insight buried in this book.

There have been several people who've been extremely helpful on this journey and I want you to know how much I appreciate it.

Thank you.
