HI-SEAS (Moon base, Hawaii) space mission

Hi there, 
My name is Charlotte Pouwels and I am a Technical Physics bachelor student from the Hague University of Applied Sciences (Netherlands). Who happens to try to finish her thesis at this exact moment.....

My passion lies in space and the technologies that come with it! It just so happens that this obsession ehmm I mean passion for space has given me the opportunity to be part of a research team (analog astronaut EMMIHS-II crew) on a Moonbase-like environment in Hawaii this December!!  This base, developed by HI-SEAS, is positioned at an altitude of 2500m  at Hawaii's Mauna Loa volcano.  During a two-week time period , me and the rest of the crew are going to be doing some experiments . These experiments are trying to give an overview of what we would expect when we are going to the Moon (±2024) and Mars (±2035). Super awesome right!! 

This amazing experience, however, has its price. Which is approximately 4000 euros.  This consists out of plane tickets, accommodation and experiment costs that will be made. 
Being a part of this, all will bring me one step closer to working in a field that brings us the next giant leap for mankind.
