Renate's Faith and Healing

$1,875 of $5,000 goal

Major medical situations are expensive. Prohibitively so. Three years of chemo, radiation and doctors has taken a huge financial toll for this family. I urge you to help me raise $5,000, as a love offering to help out with this cause.

If Renaté, and story touches you in any way, please make a donation. Any amount at all will be truly appreciated. God does provide for our needs -- through his people.

A Story Of Unwavering Faith, Healing and Inspiration

TODAY
By her faith in God, Renaté is healed.

THE DIAGNOSIS
Cancer. Stage IV. Metastasized. Breast, lung...brain.

THE BEGINNING
July 12, 2015: Renaté Duty was singing and ministering at a church -- just like every other weekend -- on a Sunday morning.  Renaté stepped off of the platform and went into the restroom, where she was found unconscious on the floor.

July 17, 2015: Renaté posted, "OK, here's the story... At church on Sunday, after service, I had a seizure & passed out. This resulted in a trip to the emergency room, courtesy of an ambulance. While in the hospital, they did tests to find out why I had the seizure. Come to find out, I had a small tumor on my brain, & during more testing, there were others found elsewhere. ...but with all the prayers going up on my behalf, which I am so thankful of, I'm sure all will be ok. ...but again, with all the prayers, I am believing that all is well. I have been overwhelmed by the love, prayers, comments, notes, flowers, & kind words from so many friends & family. Jimmy & I have been in the Word , in prayer, & trusting that God is taking care of it all!

"Yes, I am human, and (have) times of crying, pouting, & asking "Why," but, God knows my heart. I know HE has all this & that I don't need to worry. It's a scary road I've not been down before, but I will, with HIS help, along with all the prayers & love I am getting from my friends & family! I hope you all know just how much I love you for all you are doing. I may not want to talk on the phone, but I do appreciate everyone of you & your prayers, which is what is getting me through this.

"I am sore, bruised, aching, but I'm alive & well in the Lord! ...the Lord & I are constantly in touch about everything that's going on! So, Please keep up the prayers, God is hearing them!"

July 22, 2015: "Hi folks, Jimmy here,  ...for you dear friends and family who are praying for Renate...They said not curable (they don't know the God I Serve) but highly treatable...when (the doctors) see the spots have gone (and we believe this will happen) they will stop the chemo treatments. Thank you for continued prayers as we keep our focus on the healing and the mountaintop at the end of this valley!"

August 2015: "To all my friends and to my HeavenSound Family, one of our HeavenSound family members and a close friend of mine needs your prayers!! As many of you know, Renate Duty, wife of Jim Duty and long-time member of His Call, is currently undergoing cancer treatments and needs your prayers for healing.

"The Bible says in Matthew 18:19, "Again I say unto you, That if two of you shall agree on earth as touching any thing that they shall ask, it shall be done for them of my Father which is in heaven." Let's gather together as a family of ministries in the name of Jesus and ask for Renate's total, complete and immediate healing! Will you join us, Facebook and HeavenSound families?? Thank you in advance for lifting our sister up to the Savior!"

February 13, 2018: Renaté posted, "OK y'all, if you could see me now, you would see tears of pure joy!!! I wanted to share this with my friends & family prayer warriors! My doctor just told me that she looked at my mammogram many times because she couldn't believe it, but, the tumor in the breast is GONE!!! She even used the words "cancer free"!!!! PTL!!! The spots on my lungs are still there, smaller but stable, & have been for quite awhile, so she wants me to continue the antibodies infusion as precaution, but I'm believing for full & complete healing soon! But I will thank God for this good news!!!"

Listen to this song. We all leaned on the words, promises and faith in our God, for the past three years! Recorded & performed by Gary, Jimmy, Renate & Dennis, of His Call!

Tonia Windsor (neé Duty)

Here is the actual blow-by-blow reminder of how good God is!

●Mon 07/13/15 8:30 PM update from Jimmy:

"Friends and family of Jim and Renate Duty, and His Call Ministries…many or most of you already know that we have just walked into a storm. We ask for your continued prayers as it appears we will have to weather the storm a while longer. MRI and CT scans have revealed some spots and the diagnosis is not what we had hoped for. Please pray with us that God will still work a miracle in Renate , and in the meantime that God will guide the physicians to the exact treatment needed. We sing about this Savior every time we go out, And now we have to hold on to that nail scarred hand, to lead us through this storm. We know the master of the wind, he is the master of my sea, he pilots our ship. Lord don't let this storm go to waste!"

EMERGENCY PRAYER REQUEST - All friends of His Call Ministries, Jim Duty, Renate Duty, Dennis Caudill, Gary Bower and all Christians:

● 5:45 PM UPDATE (fr. Jim Duty) - "Renate is being transferred to Presbyterian Dallas."

● 4:00 PM UPDATE (fr. Jim Duty) - "Prayers still needed. The doctors have seen something on a chest x-ray and are going to do a CT scan for a better image of the spot now."

● "This is Tonia, Jimmy's sister. Renate passed out just a bit ago at a church in Azle. They think she hit her head on the way down. She is still unconscious and the EMTs are working on her. Jim Duty has asked that all friends and family pray for Renate right now. Thank you.

This song seems appropriate today: "Through Every Storm", sung by Gary, Jimmy, Renate & Dennis."

July 7, 2018 - Renaté stumbled upon some photos taken after she first collapsed, unconscious, and wrote:

"...I realized that this Friday, July 13, 2018 will be exactly 3 years since my diagnosis... how good God has been -- and is still -- to me!

(There were)... pictures of friends and family that were, and are still with me on this journey. I realize how blessed I am to have such support! There are people praying for me -- sending texts and emails -- some I don't even know, but God does. HE sent them just when I needed them!

...this Friday (July 13, 2018,) I will be having my MRI & CT scans done again.

I want to hear my doctor tell me again about how she looked at my scan -- over and over -- and saw nothing there!

I am ready to see another miracle!

I know God is already working.

I am believing for complete healing.

I know my God can do it!

Will you please say a prayer for me? It's been 6 months since my last scans and I I can not help being a little anxious..."

A message from Renaté:
"Most of you that know me well, know I don't ask for help often. I try to do what I need to, by myself.

Well, this was all out of my hands. We had some insurance glitches earlier & made things a little crazy with our finances. You know the old saying..."Life gets in the way". Well, it did! Little did I know, until after the fact, that my sister in law, had posted a very sweet & humbling post about my journey over these last three years. She also set up a "Go Fund Me" page for me. She does seem to surprise me sometimes!

I'm being really honest here, I have a hard time asking for help, especially money, so at first, I was embarrassed. But after reading her post, I could feel the love, caring & concern for not only me, but for her brother, & nephews. Then to see the outpouring of love & caring of other friends & family members, I am completely humbled & there are not words enough to say Thank You! I am just going through this one day at a time, with God's help.

I thank God every day for my friends & family that have been with me through this situation. The sweet texts, cartoons, comments, & emails are what has gotten me through all this!
I do want to say that things are working out & to clarify that we are all fine & God is in control.

But I publicly want to say THANK YOU to Tonia Windsor, for her love & concern for me & my family! I love ya!"
