Hidden Leader Expedition

$2,300 of $50,000 goal

I’m Jason Martin. I’ve spent the last 30 years developing my expertise as a corporate change expert, master trainer and executive coach. Before starting my own company, I created and ran leadership development programs for Verizon Connect. Years before that I was a master trainer for Home Depot preparing other trainers, training fast-track leaders, and designing and launching change efforts affecting nearly 200,000 people. I continue to coach business owners, executives, and transitioning special forces personnel. I published a book; Never Trust a Happy Dinosaur and I’ve coached about a thousand people as a Gallup-certified coach in the Strengthsfinder assessment. I recently left my corporate gig to launch Jason Martin Presents.

What’s most important, is my passion for helping people find their ideal fit in the workplace. I have a talent for helping people shave years off the time it takes to identify and leverage their talents and goals. I am passionate about my craft of moving people to make positive changes in their lives. I’m a great speaker, improviser, writer, coach, actor, and dreamer. I also love to be on the road by any means, but especially with wheels under me.

The Workplace Relevance Road Trip and Documentary is the marriage of my many passions and skills. The purpose is to answer two questions: What’s Good at Work? and How do we get more of it? The trip is part survey of the American workplace and part marketing initiative designed to generate benefit for the people I coach and train along the way, the interviewees who get video of themselves for their own promotion, the local media outlets who get an interesting story to tell, the sponsors and patrons who support the Road Trip & Documentary, and finally, those who will see the online content and film and be inspired to find or create their perfect place in the workplace.

We have an aggressive launch schedule, a plan for turning a profit, and multiple ways for sponsors and patrons to get involved prior to the tour, along the route, and for the long term.
