In order to continue bringing LIVE music, LIVE art and FUNKY affordable fashion to the masses, we need to get Listen Local (in) Motion.
Fashion trucks are SO COOL! There are a few around the country offering thrift and boutique stuff. We'll feature The Green Room's collection of funky/fun vintage and 2nd hand men's/women's clothes, shoes and accessories geared towards musicians and stylish folks on a budget PLUS we'll record/broadcast The Listen Local Radio show on the go and offer live acoustic music, a library of local music for sale, live art, art/music lessons and other "pop up events". You'll find us at farmer's markets, food truck hangs, festivals, parks and/or you can hire us for children's events, adult parties, etc. Also? The truck will be the "home base" of The Lunch Ladies. I Can't. Even. Wait.
Stuff we need funds for!
Solar Power, lighting, stairs, awning, passenger seat (jump seat?) for 78 Chevy Kurbmaster, large logo decals, green fabric, rugs, clothing racks, shelving, pricing gun, green Easy Up, umbrellas, small folding chairs or stools, portable tables of all types sizes, signs
and
YOUR cds - We'll be offering CDs for sale from San Diego musicians. Music will be available to preview via our "listening station", a comfy chair/headphones/library full of local music
YOUR donations - Men's and Women's clothes, shoes and accessories. If we don't feel it fits our vibe we'll donate it to a local shelter for you
We are proud to announce our partnership with Brandy's Beads and will make sure any donations accepted here on her behalf go directly to her.
