Water for Flint, Michigan
Donation protected
Clean water is a natural resource that should be a human right throughout the world. Unfortunately, Flint, MI residents have found themselves without this most basic need. Their water source has been tainted with lead and many are suffering from the effects of lead poisoning. We don't personally know those who are suffering, but we feel it is our duty to help any sister or brother in need.
HBCUPridenation, HBCUWallStreet, Garden St. Inc, J&C Ent. Group, and F.E.L.P. are calling on those who care to make a donation that will help provide clean water to those in need in the Flint area. We are a group of HBCU alumni who desperately want to help our brothers and sisters in any way we can. Our goal is to get a minimum of 30 cases of water. We will purchase the cases of water online (via Amazon or another retailer and share a screenshot of the purchase) and ship it directly to St. John's Missionary Baptist Church in Flint that is servicing residents without clean water.
With the recent celebration of Martin Luther King's birthday, it brings to mind his poignant question, "What are you doing for others?"
Please help us make a difference!
