Fur baby shot by neighbor

Hello everyone,
On March 21, 2017 after a long day. My family and I headed home. Everyday we are greeted with love from our Siberian Husky named Diesel. We noticed that he was not at the gate like he usually is. All the sudden we see our neighbors running towards us, yelling that our neighbor has shot Diesel and taken him away in his van. The police department gets involved but nothing can be done because there was no witnesses present when he shot our dog. My daughters are devasted. Diesel has been a member of our family for five years. We have had Diesel since he was 5 weeks old. This morning I decided to drive around the outskirts of Oklahoma City. We at least wanted his body for a burial. I searched for hours not finding anything. Right befor I turned back home, I decided to tuen the other way. I was on 119th and south Council Road. When I see a large black and white lump next to wooded area and a red gate. I pull up and immedialtey notice is my fur baby. He was covered in blood and shot multiple times. I took him the animal hospital immedialtey. They are running test and might need surgery. He has bullet lodge in his head and one in his back. I am needing donations to be able to pay for his surgery and medical bills. Thank you. Any amount will help and is greatly appreciated.
