My name is Gianluca I'm 22 years old. I am trying to raising money for a new powerchair . I play for Aspire powerchair sports club and we will be playing in the Champions League in October In Denmark. The new wheelchair is called the strike force. This will enable me to play in the European Cup. I have been playing for the last 8 years and this will be my first chance to play at this level and maybe even the World Cup one day. It means so much to me as this is the only competitive sport I am able to play. I travel to training each week and play in regionals and national games, I'm very committed to my team members and would love to support them by going to the Champions league and bring home the cup to England!
I have Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy I cannot walk and have been in a wheelchair since the age of 10. I had a full back fusion when I was 16. I now have very limited movement in my arms and need 2 carers to help me on a day to day basis. The chair needs to be modified due to my weakness. The condition causes muscle wasting and there is no cure.
Please would you consider helping me along with my funding. I will be so thankful for any amount of donation.
