Hello,
My name is Unique Stanley and I am currently twenty-two (22) years old. I graduated from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte with a degree in Sociology and a minor in Women's and Gender Studies.
For as long as I can remember, I have always wanted to be a positive inspiration in the lives of others. I have always wanted to make an impact - to bring about change in my life as well as other individuals. Now, I have the opportunity of a lifetime to fulfill this desire of mine!
I have an opportunity to teach ENGLISH in South Korea!
The reason I am in desperate need of these donations - these funds - is because of how last minute everything is. I found out that I received this offer for the position just LAST MONTH - so it left me with little to no preparation for my journey to a foreign country. (I am due to leave mid-May, I believe May 12th or 13th).
If you decide to willingly donate to me - to my cause - I will use this money to ensure that I will put it to good use. While living there, I will not get paid until a month after arrival. I would need to have enough money to purchase food, to get minor furnishings for the apartment (a bed and covers), and pay for the medical examination, and registration card for the country to settle me in.
I know it is a HUGE deal to ask you all for your donations - but anything that you are able to give would be a blessing. It would not only be appreciated, but it would be fulfilling to know that so many great individuals were behind me on jumpstarting my career in Education.
