My name is Rory Bamford, co-founder of Crownsmen Partners, a consulting firm in British Columbia with offices in Kamloops and Delta.
We have started the Crownsmen Podcast along with the #GetBCMining, #BuildBCBuild, and #TruckingHeroes campaigns to highlight what the businesses and people working in industrial sectors mean to this province and Western Canada. Miners, Oil & Construction Workers, and Truckers all play huge roles in sourcing, producing, and shipping goods that keep our BC economy growing.
Too many politicians and bureaucrats in BC are focused on every potential, negative consequence that any new project might have, such as the Kinder Morgan Pipeline expansion or Ajax Mine, and not accurately measure against the upside of billions of dollars that will flow into businesses which in turn employ tens of thousands who will go to work because these projects are built.
The Crownsmen Podcast will highlight “Heroes” by interviewing guests during podcasts from First Nations Entrepreneurs, business owners who are directly impacted by new industrial projects, and top level executives from leading companies in the mining, energy, construction, and transportation sectors.
We need to raise $12,000 per month over the next year for a total of $144,000.
10 percent of funds will be used to raise awareness through campaigns such as our #GetBCMining campaign on Facebook which has reached over 50,000 people since it’s launch in March 2018.
20 percent of funds raised will be used to fund research reports on how the province benefits from industrial projects and the innovations that are happening across all the industrial sectors.
40 percent will be invested into the Crownsmen Podcast to enhance quality every episode. Check out all our podcasts here on Anchor.
30 percent will be used to attend industrial events where we will record live podcasts and interviews with industry experts. Examples of these events are the Quesnel Gold Show April 20-22 and CIM Vancouver May 6-8.
Your support will give us the opportunity to continue producing free weekly podcasts and industrial reports. Our mission is to connect all corners of BC and ignite an industrial boom across Western Canada.
Growth will be seen in businesses hiring new employees and more entrepreneurs entering the market (maybe even see future tax policy changes).
BC Business will not bow down to the idiotic policies of Victoria or be taxed into a position that limits our freedom of enterprise. We want to build up wealth for future generations, not leave them in debt ridden ruin.
