Rebuilding the Helsel Family Home

Today, February 19th, 2017, my sister's family had been ravaged by the  destructive wrath of fire. Chelsea and Mike had a beautiful country home adorned with family photos and memories. Fortunately they and their beautiful young girls, Amelia and Ava, survived the fire without any physical injuries. Everything was destroyed. They are left without clothes, shelter, and a home for their precious little girls. Amelia is five years old and loves school, exploring, and reading and has the imagination and will to give the world hope and love. Ava is only seven months old and has a smile that brings tears to my eyes everytime I hold her. These girls and their parents are the most important people in my life and I'm doing anything and everything to help them through this horrific disaster. This family lost everything except for the love and memories which binds us together. Any contribution to help these girls live a normal life again is much appreciated. May the community lift our spirits and it's support mend the emotional wounds this terrible event has caused.


For those who are asking to help the girls in other ways. Ava wears a size 3 diaper and wears 9-12 month old clothes. She needs Similac Advanced stage 1 baby formula and she could use a bouncing walker. Amelia wears 6T clothes and shoe size 13. She needs school supplies such as books, pencils, crayons, etc. Amelia and Ava could also use a few toys. Thank you for you support and concern for our family.
