Zeppelin needs your help to see!!!

Our baby boy Zeppelin is in dire need of your help! My partner Maegan and I adopted Zeppelin, a 110 lb, year and a half old Mastiff-Cross 6 months ago from Benevolent Bully Rescue in Port Hope, Ontario. Zeppelin is our second pup. We had an amazing staffy named Zeus for 10 years before he sadly lost his battle with cancer. Zeppelin came along and brought so much life back into our lives!
Clearly a party animal... We didn't get a lot of info on Zep's past, but he was found as a stray in the corn fields. He came with alot of issues... non-stop attention barking and some aggression issues that we really needed to take care of. We did 3 rounds of obedience classes, some time with a behavioral therapist, and even a week's boot camp with a fantastic trainer. He's turned some amazing corners and really turned into the most fun-loving, friendly happy dude (albeit hyperactive) who is such a perfect addition to our family.
After worrying about how much he was furiously scratching and rubbing at his face, Zeppelin was recently diagnosed with Entropian in both eyes - a medical condition that causes his bottom eyelids to fold inwards and have his eyelashes rubbing against his eyes. This is constantly irritating them.
He's also recently had an ulcer in his eye from the self trauma. This can become quite serious very quickly and we've been given a quote for the surgery at Forest Hill Animal Clinic and it's looking like $5000 for the eye surgery alone. This doesn't include tests, follow-up care and other potential expenses. This has come as a complete shock, so shortly after adopting him and everything that comes along with helping a new pup feel happy, and content in a new home with new parents! We honestly feel SUPER weird about asking for help, but we're honestly just not sure what else to do at this point! Any little bit helps, and we are eternally grateful for anything you can do to help Zeppelin! Even if it's just sharing the word and telling your friends! We all thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
